Admins can now create custom data fields for Employee, Company, and Assets Records.
Admins can access the custom data section from Settings -> Custom data.
Data types supported can be broken down into the following categories :
To add a custom data type :
Click on "Add a new field":
Define the field name, add translation if necessary, and choose "Data Type", depending on the chosen data type additional fields may be necessary to be entered.
Once a data field is saved, it will be visible below:
- Employee custom fields defined will be available to edit under the Employee profile → Personal tab → Additional Data
- Company custom fields defined will be available to edit under the Company Documents menu → Additional data.
- Assets custom fields defined will be available to edit under Assets → Additional Data. (Please note: This additional data will not reflect in the pop-up when creating a new asset.)
You can also specify custom employee list fields to be available under filter options for the payroll table, adjustments list page, or work expenses list pages.
