Change the payment currency of an employee

How to change the currency for an employee in an existing payroll table

Step 1

From the Dashboard, go to the Payroll table.

Step 2

Select the employee whose payment currency needs to be changed.

Step 3

Click on Go to profile.

Step 4

Click on Salary Configuration.

Step 5

Please make sure you update the following fields:

1. Base Currency

2. Month from which salary currency will change

3. Amount of basic pay and any allowances in the new currency

Once the currency has been updated, you will be able to see which month the new currency will be effective from.

Note: You can only change the currency of the employee to a currency that is already configured in your payroll.
