With Payroll Approval flow enabled for your account, you can view the payroll table dashboard with a similar functionality to the payroll table along with an additional column added for Unpaid amounts pending approval and Total unpaid amounts. This will allow you to have a quick view of the processed, pending, and unpaid amounts.
Prior to finalizing and submitting a transaction, you'll have the opportunity to review the transaction details, view the list of approvers, and include a comment or remark for their consideration.
You can then navigate to Finance > Transactions to view the progress and status of all submitted transactions.
- An email notification will be sent to all the approvers informing them that a transaction has been submitted and is pending their approval.
- Both the Super Admin and the Approvers have the capability to add comments or remarks to a transaction but are restricted from making any additional changes to the submitted transaction
The transactions page has been enhanced to show submissions within the active payroll cycle, defaulting to the current open payroll cycle month. Transactions are now organized into three tabs based on their status: pending, approved, and rejected, offering clearer categorization and easier access.
Review and Approve/Reject a Submitted Transaction
As a designated approver, the submitted transaction will appear under the pending tab to "Review and Approve".
Selecting "Review & Approve" enables you to access the transaction, which is segmented into trade licenses, each containing employee specifics. Click the 'view' button for individual trade licenses to review employee details. From the top-right corner of the screen, you can either approve or reject the transaction using the designated action buttons.
Once the transaction is accepted by all approvers it is moved to the Approved tab on the transactions page. As a Super admin/ Payroll table manager, you will be able to download the SIF file for each trade license or process payroll through Lulu or SAB if applicable.

Note: You can still choose to reject the transaction even after it's been approved, if necessary.
When a transaction is rejected, it moves to the rejected status tab on the transactions page. The amounts in the transaction are returned to the payroll table. You can download related files and view transaction-related comments. However, the rejected transaction cannot be resubmitted or moved back to the pending stage.
