This approach is useful if you have multiple work centers and employees, as it saves you time selecting shift timings and employees simultaneously.
Step 1: Click on Shift Scheduler under the Time menu option to open the Shift Scheduler main view.
Step 2: Select the work center to enable the "Schedule Planner". Click the 'Schedule Planner' button. This action will open a new page.
Step 3: To choose the shift that needs assignment, click 'Select a new shift.' This action will open a side drawer.
In the side drawer, pick the shift type—either a working day or a day off. If it's a working day or a day off with check-in allowed, select the relevant office and work timings. Optionally, add any notes.
Click 'Done' to save your selected shift details.
Step 4: Click on the shift cells to assign this shift to the employees for the required dates. You can un-assign a shift by clicking on the 'x' icon. Click on Save when complete. The schedule planning can be done in the week view or month view.
Step 5: Continue the same process across other work centers. Once all scheduled planning is completed and draft shifts are saved, click on Publish Shift on the main shift scheduler page to notify your employees of their scheduled shifts.
Note:-You can utilize filters or sorting options to narrow down and focus on the specific set of employees you need for schedule planning.
-During the schedule planning, while assigning the shifts, the progress is saved automatically.
-At this point, if there is a need to exit the Schedule Planner view (without saving as drafts) to come back at a later point in time, click on the Go back to shift scheduler. On the prompt, click on Keep Progress and exit.
