Once the leave salary policy is configured, you will be able to manage the employee requests. These requests can be found in Finance > Leave Salary.
When an employee applies for leave and they are eligible for leave salary in a particular policy, their leave salary request will automatically be created and will be shown under the Pending tab.
Below are 4 actions that Superadmins can take on the leave salary request.
1 of 4. Approve the request
You can move the request from the pending to the approved stage by clicking on the three dots and selecting Review and Approve the request.
Once the option is selected, you will be able to view the calculation for the leave salary amount. You can overwrite the calculation and manually enter an amount for leave salary along with the remarks. Once the amount has been overwritten and the request is approved, the overwritten amount cannot be changed, unless you move the request back to the pending state.
You can view the Activity history and comments on these requests.
2 of 4. Reject the request
As a Superadmin, Leaves manager, or Payroll manager, you can reject the request and it will reflect under a dedicated tab.

3 of 4. Add to the Payroll table
Once approved the amount can be added to the current payroll table and under the Leave salary tab of the employee's profile.
4 of 4. Process the Leave Salary
You can submit a transaction for the leave salary in your payroll table. This process is explained in detail in the third part of this training (How to process leave salary in payroll).
Once the transaction is processed, the leave salary request will automatically move to the Processed tab.
