At Bayzat, we’re committed to enhancing your experience and security. Introducing Dual Authorisation, a feature designed to add an extra layer of protection to your payment processes. This feature ensures greater control over high-value transactions and strengthens fraud prevention measures.
Pre-Authorisation Process
- Pre-Authorisation is now a mandatory step between creating and fully authorising a payment for companies with this feature enabled.
- This additional step ensures payments are verified before final approval.
New User Role: Invoice Payment Pre-Authoriser
- A new role, Invoice Payment Pre-Authoriser, has been introduced.
- Users with this role are responsible for Pre-Authorising payments before they move to the final authorisation stage.
- Invoice Payment Authorisers can also Pre-Authorise payments if needed.
- Only Finance Superadmins can assign the Invoice Payment Pre-Authoriser role to employees.
Identifying Payments Requiring Pre-Authorisation
- Payments needing Pre-Authorisation will appear under the "Awaiting Authorisation" tab.
- Look for the "Pre-Authorise" button next to these payments.
Steps to Pre-Authorise a Payment
- Click the "Pre-Authorise" button for the payment.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear. Confirm your action.
- Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added security.
- Once confirmed, the payment will be marked as Pre-Authorised and can be filtered by "Awaiting final authorisation"
Quick Filters for Better Visibility
- New filters have been added to the "Awaiting Authorisation" tab to help you easily identify payments:
- Awaiting Pre-Authorisation: Shows payments needing Pre-Authorisation.
- Awaiting Authorisation: Shows payments ready for final authorisation.
Default Filters Based on Roles:
- Invoice Payment Pre-Authorisers will only see payments requiring Pre-Authorisation.
- Invoice Payment Authorisers will only see payments requiring final authorisation.
You can adjust these filters as needed.
Support for Direct Bank Transfers
- The Pre-Authorisation process now applies to Direct Bank Transfer payments.
- Payments requiring Pre-Authorisation in Direct Bank Transfers will also appear under the "Awaiting Authorisation" tab.
