Creating a Survey using AI

Introduction

In order to make it even easier for Bayzat's users to create a survey to understand employee feedback on any topic, we have brought the power of AI into the surveys module.

To get started, simply create a new survey and press the Start from Scratch button or Get started button in the banner. On the following screen press the Start from AI button and continue.

Writing your AI Survey Prompt

In order to create the most relevant survey for your use case, you need to provide the tool with a specific prompt to guide the AI. A prompt is simply instructions to help the AI understand what questions to include in the survey.

Here are a few pointers you can use when writing your survey prompt.

1. Always start the prompt with the phrase "Create a survey"...

2. Be specific about the topic of the survey, include as many details about what the survey should be about after the start of the prompt. You can also include a reason why you are sending out the survey to make it even more relevant.
   For example - "Create a survey about how effective our all hands meeting was for our employees, so that we can improve the meeting in the future."

3. You can include additional details when relevant, such as which industry your company is in or what type of employees would fill in this survey to get even better outputs.
   For example - "Create a survey about the performance management process for employees in the sales department in a company in the manufacturing industry." This will allow the AI to tailor the questions even further.

4. If you wish the survey to only include certain question types, or to always include at least a specific question type, you can do this by specifying this in the prompt.
   For example - "Create a survey about our recent company event that only includes multiple choice questions".

If you want to specify the length of the survey, you can also choose the set the number of questions to be included, however doing this is optional. This can be useful if you want to create a more detailed survey, or a very short, easy to answer survey for your employees.

Viewing the Output and Refining

After inputting the prompt information, the survey questions will automatically be generated and output on the page, with different types of questions included when relevant. You may make any edits directly to the survey questions if you which to refine the questions, or you can delete or add in your question to the AI suggested questions.

If the output is not relevant to your needs, you can also press the Re-generate button at the bottom of the questions page. This will delete all the existing questions and allow you to specify a new prompt for the survey.
